Michael Burns
Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Burns moved to Toronto, Canada, in 1965. In 1973, he relocated to Canmore, Alberta, and then settled in Edmonton in 1983. A self-taught artist, he specializes in figurative and mystical oil paintings, featuring enigmatic human figures in desolate landscapes or dimly lit urban streets. Additionally, he creates still life paintings.
